Subject: New Kflop not Working

Hi Tom

Thanks for taking care of me with the new kflop to replace the one I fried.

The problem now is the new kflop seems to be not working right out of the box.  I promises I didn’t plug it into anything but the usb port.

When I plug it in I get no lights or signs of windows recognizing it.  Nothing gets hot, and I can measure 3.3v on the output of the regulator.  J2 is jumpered just like I got it to pins 1&2.  J3 is jumpered.

Could it be a bad board or am I just doing something wrong?  My natural inclination would be to think I did something wrong, but for the life of me I don’t know what it could be.  This time around I was planning on being extra hyper careful, but I didn’t even get past plugging in the usb cable.

Help

Hi Troy,

Strange.  I can't see how you can be doing anything wrong.

Let us overnight you another one.  Please send that one back at your convenience so we can check it out.

Regards,
TK

    Hi Tom

That would be great, thanks.  No need to overnight, however you sent the last one would be fine.
